THE IDEA:
We all love to put on a good podcast in the background during a work day. Through podcasts, we grow closer to strangers in a way we couldn't before. There a raw and honest long-form type of content that allows people to share about themselves in great detail.
With this activity, you will create your own podcast with a member of your team. They can be a new hire, a CEO who doesn't have much time to talk with his team, or anyone in between. This will provide your team with a fun and easy way to get to know each other.
HOW-TO:
- Pick a member of your team to have on the podcast.
- Choose someone on your team who will have the conversation with them. Ideally someone who is easy going with good conversational skills.
- Use Zoom as the software to have and record the conversation. You can find steps on how to record a Zoom conversation here.
- Once the recording is finished, you can either lightly edit the video yourself or just use the raw footage. Upload it as a private or public video on YouTube and share it with your team!
